The Chapman Wedding
A city centre Christmas wedding. Held just before Christmas on a chilly Sheffield weekend. We've known the bride since she was about ten and I've lived with the groom so this was a very personal one for us. The wedding got re-arranged last minute so logistically we didn't have a lot of information. We had to stay flexible and mobile throughout the day, working off our shot list and making sure we got all the shots were needed and making sure we stayed where the action was.

The wedding venue was quite dark and flooded with an awkward red light, not ideal for a beautiful wedding video, but with a combination of clever composition and colouring in the edit, we managed to even things out for the final piece. The reception on the other hand had a south facing wall made completely of glass which overlooked the city of Sheffield. Situated in the Winter Gardens complex which consists of a museum, art gallery and botanical gardens, a really quirky but lovely place to celebrate a marriage.
Along with the finished highlight style video we supplied the couple with the luxury package add-on of the entire speeches video. All in all a real fun wedding and a great day to be a part of. See for yourself all the smiling faces below!
